RMA is committed to preparing our students to be 21st-century learners prepared for careers and college. We know exceptional teaching, student feedback, and individualized learning are the best ingredients needed to increase student achievement. Across the district, we utilize the blended learning rotational model, in which students rotate through different learning stations, at least one including activities such as small-group or full-class instruction, group projects, individual tutoring, online learning, and pencil-and-paper assignments. Students are given different opportunities for instruction, reinforcement, and application of concepts, thus giving them greater opportunities for understanding and innovation.
As the district rapidly grows, we have established a distance education program to meet the ever-increasing needs for quality instruction across the district.
Distance courses incorporate components of live broadcasting by our virtual teachers and reinforcement of concepts with highly-qualified associate teachers.
We are fortunate to have the opportunity to expose RMA students to the most current educational technologies available, including:
- New laptop and lab computers
- TI-84 graphing calculators
- SmartBoards
- All-in-one computers
- Hue digital cameras
- Nikon digital cameras
- Adobe Creative Cloud and AdobeConnect software
- Canvas learning platform utilized by colleges and universities nationwide
