A Message from Our School Principal

Welcome Tigers! It is a privilege to welcome you to Richard Milburn Academy. We are proud to acknowledge the accomplishments of the graduates of Richard Milburn Academy. Our students have graduated and left prepared to face the opportunities that are awaiting them after high school. Our goal is to work with you to provide you with a Safe, Rigorous, Character Filled learning opportunity and have you join the graduates from previous classes and become a part of the legacy and tradition of Richard Milburn Academy. We will do this by embracing the Tiger Way. These character traits are what we stand on here at Richard Milburn Academy.

The character traits that we will exhibit and expect our students to exhibit are respect, responsibility, and integrity. I encourage you to become active in your learning, and you will be able to achieve over and beyond your wildest dreams.

"RMA is more than a school; it’s a place of opportunity. Our kids come here to learn academics, but they leave with knowledge beyond the classroom. That’s why I love working here. Our principal likes to say, ‘In loco parentis’, which is Latin for, ‘In place of the parent’, because we support our students like a family and that’s important."
