  • Thank you for visiting our Career and Technology Education (CTE) page! CTE fulfills an increasingly significant role in school reform efforts. Classes can be taken to enhance the high school curriculum and provide a wide range of experiences and preparedness for post-high school education and careers.

The RMA CTE Department hosts 5 career clusters and 6 programs of study recognized statewide by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Students that concentrate in a CTE area are prepared with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the work force as skilled workers, ready to face the challenges of the future.

RMA’s Career and Technical Education(CTE) programs will offer a sequence of courses that provide students with coherent and rigorous content directly related to their preparation for further education and training within a career pathway.

RMA is dedicated to preparing young people to manage the dual roles of family member and wage earner. Through CTE programs, students receive training for employment in a high-skill, high-wage career. CTE students are encouraged to pursue postsecondary education/training with a focus on their chosen occupational area.

The Richard Milburn Academy Texas Inc. offers career and technical education programs in Business and Industry and Public Services.
